Resveratrol Protects Brain After A Stroke

Scientists from John Hopkins University recently published their findings in a study on lab mice that showed resveratrol may shield the brain from the negative affects of a stroke. The researchers, lead by Dr Sylvain Dore, state that it may not be resveratrol that is inhibiting the brain damage directly, but it may actually be activating the cells to defend themselves from the free radical damage that often follows a stroke
